You can watch the lively and wonderful world of CBeebies every day from 6am - 7pm on the CBeebies channel. Programmes are carefully planned into zones suitable for different age groups. Between 6am-9am ‘Get Set Go’ is lively and exciting to get four to six year olds up and ready for the day ahead. From 9am ‘Discover and Do’ is designed so the under fours can explore, learn, make and create. At 3.30pm we start ‘Big Fun Time’, where four to six year olds can be surprised and entertained. Finally ‘Bedtime Hour’ between 6pm-7pm, features calm programming to encourage all little ones that it’s time to get ready for bed. Something Special is an award-winning series using Makaton symbols and signs, rhymes and songs to encourage your child to communicate and develop their language skills. It features the BAFTA award-winning presenter and children’s favourite, Justin Fletcher as Mr Tumble.
Using repetition, the simple interactive format encourages children to join in with fun games and songs guided by the loveable and entertaining Mr Tumble. Each programme focuses on a different aspect of a child’s world and is designed to help them make sense of what’s going on around them, as well as giving them the tools to make themselves understood. Our programmes are scheduled to give each part of the day a distinctive mood.
The ‘Bedtime Hour’ is designed to encourage your little ones to unwind and get ready for bed. Shown between six and seven o’clock every evening and incorporating stories and bedtime songs, it encourages calm and relaxation. It’s perfectly suited to reinforce your child’s bedtime routine. As well as programmes on the CBeebies channel, the website also has lots of stories and songs that will lull little ones into a happy and dream-filled sleep.
