Sansa Clip File Manager
2 Sansa® Clip Overview 3 This chapter helps you familiarize yourself with the features and functionality of your Sansa® Clip player. Sansa® Clip Overview.
If u use the MSC connection then u can sync with ur music library using a software called. U can define folder to sync on ur PC and on ur ZIP and sync.
It supports 2 way sync and 1 way. And the option to propogate deletions on the synced side.
Meaning, if u downloaded a song on ur PC and placed it in ur music library. U can plug ur ZIP and sync the new files/folders to it. The same image of folders and files will be copied to the player. Also, lets say u have downloaded on another PC copied to ur player and then came home. U can sync from ur player to ur library on the PC. Works wonderfully, its free and saves alot of pain if u keep ur library fresh with new stuff hope this helps.
My old computer, which I haven't got anymore, used Windows XP and my Sansa Clip worked fine and I could transfer music from Windows Media Player to the MP3. Now I've got a new computer using Windows 7 and it isn't recognised at all. I've tried changing from MSC to MTP without success.
I've tried the Device Manager without any success. In my desperation, I've accidentally Formatted the MP3 and lost even the music I DID have. I'm really at my wits end. I'm going on holiday in a month and wanted to put more music on it - now I haven't even got ANY music on it - just the radio. Please help urgently.
Is the player detected in device manager? Did you check connecting to different USB ports? Will the player start charging when you connect? I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers if you have installed for the player, download the drivers from the below link and install: If this doesn’t help, then follow these steps and check if it helps: 1. Make sure your Clip is in 'MTP' mode.
To do this, turn it on normally, then hit the small button with a house next to it. Then, scroll down to 'Settings' and hit the center button. Scroll down to 'USB Mode' and hit 'right'. Highlight 'MTP' and select it with the center button.
Then, hit 'left' until you get back to the main screen. (If you don't do it this way, it may not save your change.) 2 - Plug it into your computer via the USB cable.
3 - Get into the Device Manager. Then find your Sansa Clip in the Device Manager list., right click it and choose 'Uninstall'.
4 - Unplug your Clip from your computer 5 - Plug your Clip back in. 6 - Open Windows Media Player and see if it's working properly. 7 - Close Device Manager if everything is ok. If not, you may have to repeat step 3 again. For more information refer this link: Azam – Microsoft Support.
